A small senior team of tech experts, led by Sachin Garg, CTO

We help you find out if your hard problem can be built, then lead the research and build.

We guide your team through a small prototype on your own data, before the budget moves.

  • Rawzor started in 2008 with image compression research. Since then we've built the signal processing for a blood-glucose monitor that plugs into a phone's audio jack.
  • We started with AI/ML in 2013, when we trained computer vision ML models to detect and track fish species in open waters, and implemented image compression algorithms that ran on GPUs in 94.7% less time.

Why the hard part goes first

The part nobody is sure about gets built first.

It's tested on the hardware it has to run on, and you see the measurements before anyone commits to the full build.

We don't rent you developers. Anyone we help you find joins your team, not ours.

Why the test data matters

A new set of test images, in 2007

The standard test images for compression research were too small, too old, and only 8-bit precision. In 2007, Sachin put together a new high-resolution, high-precision set, each image picked to stress the algorithms in a different way. We test your prototype on the most appropriate data.

What we usually find

The right intent, not yet the experience.

A hard problem needs people who have solved problems like it before.

01 · Underneath

Usually, it's new to the team

Nobody in the room has built it before, so no one can say yet whether it will work on real data, or run fast enough on real hardware.

02 · What we do first

Who has solved it before

Before anything gets built, we look for people and tools that have already solved your exact problem. Then the prototype only has to answer what's still unknown.

03 · If it's worth building

The full build, with your team

We lead the work with your team and the specialists it needs, and make sure it ships.

Open any result for the story. Clients stay unnamed; Sachin can walk you through any of them.

How we work

From stuck to self-running.

Your team takes on a little more each month, until it runs without us.

01 Weeks 1–3

Get clear

Where things really stand, including what leadership doesn't hear.

01 · Weeks 1–3 What we look at first
  • What you're trying to achieve, and where things really stand.
  • The quality of the work so far. It can go either way: sometimes it's worse than it looks, and sometimes it's much better than it feels, simply because it isn't finished yet.
  • The skills the job needs against the skills on the team.
  • Whether your timeline and budget estimates are realistic.
  • The gap between what we hear from leadership and what we hear from the people doing the work. That gap usually tells us the most.

Ways to start

Everything starts with one call.

By the end of it, we'll both know whether there's more to do, and which of the other two options fits.

01 · Start here

A first call

$500

  • 90 minutes with Sachin on your real problem
  • Real answers and clear next steps on the calls themselves
  • Up to two follow-ups, with you or your team
  • Not worth it? One click, full refund
Pick a time

The right first step for nearly everyone.

Some teams take the solutions and run with them on their own. That's a perfectly good outcome.

02 · After the call

A fixed-scope review

$3.5–6K Fixed price, 2–3 weeks

A small prototype of the part nobody is sure about, built by your team on your own data with our guidance, and measured.

  • Whether it works on your data, and runs fast enough on your hardware
  • Whether your timeline and budget estimates are realistic
  • Solutions to the problems we find, worked out together with you and your team

03 · After the call

Working together

$8–12K a month or a fixed-scope project

If it can be built, our senior team leads the build with your people, through to a planned hand-off.

  • Sachin sets direction and checks the work
  • Milestones tied to features your users can actually use
  • A planned hand-off to your own team

Book your first call.

Bring whoever on your team knows the problem best.

Why is the first call paid?

Because it's working time on your problem, and you get real answers on the call itself. It also covers up to two follow-ups.

What if it can't be built?

Then you hear it early, with the measurements that show why, while changing course is still cheap.

Who writes the code?

We provide senior product guidance to fix your prototypes. After that, your developers, or specialists we help you hire who have solved your exact problems before. We lead the work and make sure it ships. We don't rent you developers.

Does Sachin work on it himself?

Sometimes, for a tricky performance problem or a code review. Mostly he makes sure the right people are writing it, and that what they build is what you actually need.
